Flooded Crawlspace Dried Out By SERVPRO
This elevated first floor above a crawlspace suffered a double whammy of flooding and also saltwater intrusion. The brackish, contaminated groundwater covers about four inches of this fortified concrete pad and the floor joists. SERVPRO structural drying team was able to vacate this water with submersible pumps once the outside waters had subsided. The After Photo shows the flooded crawlspace has now been dried and is back to standard humidity levels. The air movers and large desiccant dehumidifier were removed, and the final thermo-hygrometer checking indicated the moisture baseline was back to normal.
We ensure the storm-damaged structure is dry, safe, and secure before we complete our mission of restoring the flooding to its preloss condition, "Like it never even happened."
