A Flooded Condo Dried And Restored By SERVPRO

This first-floor condo suffered the effects of flooding due to open windows. The condo was vacant and the windows were open so it could be aired out due to the HVAC system being out of commission. Our SERVPRO team arrived quickly after the call and proceeded to vacuum out the standing water with our truck-mounted pump. The water was clean and free of ground contaminants. This allowed the carpets to be cleaned and salvaged. The After Photo shows that our team salvaged them because of rapid water extraction and quick placement of air movers and dehumidifiers to establish good humidity levels within the condo. We always try to salvage materials and not just replace building elements when possible. This helps to cut down on the cost of restoration, much to the delight of our customers.
